By booking a room you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below:

Bookings:

• Provisional bookings will be held for 7 days
• You can guarantee your booking with a non-refundable deposit of your first night's stay
• Bookings should not be considered guaranteed until our acknowledgment of the deposit and/or confirmation of the booking has been received

Checking in and out:

• Our check-in time is from 5pm - 8pm
• If you need to check in outside these times, please let us know when you book your room
• If you know that you are going to be late checking in, please ensure you contact us before 8pm to let us know. Failure to notify us may result in the room being re-let
• In the very rare case that we cannot accept a booking a full refund will be offered
• Check out time is 10.30am Monday to Saturday and 11am on Sunday

Paying for your room:

• Payment in full is required on arrival
• We accept cash or cheques
• Room prices include breakfast and VAT at the current rate

Cancellations:

• There is no charge for cancellations if at least seven days notice is given
• If your reservation is cancelled, in full or in part, within seven days or in the event of non-arrival by any or all of the guests, no refund will be given and the full amount will be charged, unless we are able to re-let the room
• In the very rare case that we have to cancel your booking a full refund will be offered
• We advise that you take out Holiday Cancellation Insurance

Children:

• Children of all ages are very welcome, and additional facilities such as cots, high chairs and bottle/food warming are available on request
• Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult

Car Parking:

• Car parking is at the owner's risk
• Our driveway is a right of way for our neighbours so please be considerate when parking and ensure that they have access
  

Pets:

• We have cats, so we unfortunately can't take dogs

Smoking:

• Smoking is not allowed at Castle View

Unacceptable Behaviour:

• Behaviour or noise levels judged unacceptable may result in the termination of the booking without refund
• Unacceptable behaviour includes smoking in any of the rooms. Offending guests will be asked to leave immediately and will be liable for the cost of professional cleaning
• Statutory controls, including those relating to fire, licensing, entertainment, health and safety must be strictly observed by our guests
• Guests will be charged for any damage caused

Liability:

• We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment
• Other than for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, our liability to our guests is limited to the price of the booking

Faults and Complaints:

• In the event of failure of any equipment, property or utilities, this will be dealt with as speedily as possible. We cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused. All equipment and property is maintained on a regular basis
• Any complaints regarding the stay should be made in writing within 21 days

Accessibility information:

• Support for the Mobility Impaired - we do not have any such facilities
• Support for the Visually Impaired - we do not have any such facilities
• Support for the Hearing Impaired - we do not have any such facilities
